When it comes to eating at this Sunset Way restaurant, itβs best to pre-plan your orders the night before making reservations as most of their popular items require advance notice. Start your meal with the Brinjal with Salted Egg Yolk Sauce ($8) β golden medallions coated with a dry salted egg yolk sauce that are crispy on the outside and dreamily creamy on the inside. If youβre in a group of 10 or more, share the Pig Stomach Black Chicken Soup ($98, order one day in advance). The service staff will snip open the puffed up pig stomach with a pair of scissors tableside, revealing a stuffed whole black chicken. The soup itself is peppery, super tasty and definitely worth having seconds! The Champagne Ribs ($6.90 per piece) here are also thick, very meaty and slathered with a finger-licking good glaze that will keep you busy for a while.
Avg Price: $20 per person

Crispy on the outside, soft & creamy on the inside! Coated w just the right amount of salted egg yolk (that doesn't make you feel like you'll get a sore throat after) sauce, this dish makes a really good appetizer to kick start your mea! ππ»ππ»
We ordered their seasonal fish & today was grouper! Freshly steamed w tomatoes (YASSSβ€οΈ), tofu & other condiments. Upon eating the flesh, you can definitely tell that their fish is super fresh as the meat is soft & bouncy. β¨ Paired w their tangy (they used sour plum) umami sauce, it'll definitely go well with white rice ππ΄

Having it being our first time here, we weren't quite sure what to order & the waitress recommended the champagne pork ribs & specifically recommended 1 each. We wondered if it'll be enough but reckoned it'll be a wise choice to try it first before considering seconds. When the ribs arrived, we realized why she said 1 each. These babies were thick! Not long like those you get at BKT stalls & not those full of fat kinds but thick & pack w meat! Perfectly glazed w champagne & probably honey that made it nice & sweet. You can taste the kiss of the grill on them too. It's easy to overcook ribs but these weren't. Nice & crunchy, you'll find yourself sucking on the bones even after you're done! π π¦π¦
This was our preferred method of cooking the sweet crustaceans. #yummy #sgfood #burpple
