Requested for a Naked style of burger which meant that the buns was swapped for vegetables and my fries was swapped for side salad.

I thoroughly enjoyed this meal as it kept me really full and the burger was good!

Basically you will just have to pick 2 flavours from their menu. We had Wagyu Beef & Mushroom and Al Funghi. Nice seasoning of the wagyu beef, sweet and yet savoury at the same time. Tho the mushroom did overkill a little. Mushroom overloaded on this super duper thin crust pizza.

I'm honestly such a sucker for sweet potato fries. The fries ($15) at TCS, with garlic, paprika and house seasoning, ain’t half bad. Could use more parmesan shavings, but they're especially tasty dipped in sriracha mayonnaise.

Granted, it's a pricey plate of fries, but sometimes all sense of reason is pushed aside once those intense junk food cravings hit.

Apart from the usual Western fare, The Coastal Settlement also provided some local favourites done the TCS way. Say for instance their Hokkien Mee (S$19.00), that rich seafood stock enhance the umami flavours of the hawker food. In addition, the mildly wetness of the dish, coupled with the surprisingly springy yellow noodles and thick bee hoon made my dinner even more delicious than usual.

Of course, the price tag was the unattractive factor to this item, for most hawker centres would sell this portion at 60% less pricey. Still, not a bad choice for a change.

Nice presentation. Lava cake was okay. Cake itself wasn't moist enough; the explosion of chocolatey goodness was there though. It wasn't overly sweet too. It was a bit odd for me to have my molten lava cake with mint ice cream. They just don't go together. Would rather pair my molten lava cake with a good vanilla ice cream.

Taste wise, I prefer it to the waffle stack (which wasn't fantastic too).

But I wouldn't recommend paying $14 for it. To me, each bite must be worth every cent!

Needn't reserve a table. There are empty tables around. Good for big groups.

Waffles were average. I personally prefer waffles that are crispy on the outside and soft/ fluffy on the inside.
TCS waffles are just mostly crispy.
Sliced bananas and strawberries were fresh.
Berry compote was a good contrast to the sweet ice-cream and waffles, but a tad too sour for me.

The scooped of ice-cream is just too small. At least it is insufficient for the waffles.
