Man the rice was soft, fluffy, moist without clumping together, and so so soooo fragrant I’m going as far as to call it the best I’ve had of late. And that fried chicken: crispy batter surrounding unimaginably tender meat. It was so good I got another side of fried chicken breast, and oof is it the best hawker fried chicken or the best hawker fried chicken (no I’m not giving you an option).

Great to be back at this place! Loved it the first time I came when it was at another location and much much smaller. The chicken is still the same, pretty good! The sambal definitely used to be much better. Prepare for the continuous crowd and to learn to wait patiently as you queue! The food, however, doesn't take much time. Service is great as the staff is super friendly.

Finally tried @thecoconutclubsg and we enjoyed the nasi lemak and the chendol! Everything we had was yummy with the chicken being tender, the peanuts and ikan bilis crunchy and the sambal was flavourful too 😋 The coconut was really fragrant indeed and I love the gula melaka in the chendol as well 😍

A place to try at least once and the chicken is fantastic!

Not a fan of cendol cos it is usually sickeningly sweet. But this is surprisingly refreshing and the coconut milk is a stand out. Makes a lot of difference!

This is my first visit to The Coconut Club after they have shifted to their current location, and it’s good to know that their signature Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Berempah ($12.80) is still as good as ever! The chicken thigh is tender and flavourful, the coconut rice is fragrant and the sambal is quite spicy! Had to queue 25min during weekday lunch but thankfully it did not disappoint:)
