Ordered the chicken leg nasi lemak but unfortunately it ran out (went ~8pm on a Friday)! Swapped it for chicken breast instead, chicken was tender but unfortunately a little dry. Loved the sambal and the ikan billies/ peanuts, rice was fragrant but seemed better the last time I had it. Service was 💯, servers were super friendly and they gave us sambal squid on the side seeing that chicken leg (what we ordered) had ran out. Nearer to closing time they even gave out kuehs! Great location, good food (will recommend leg over breast), amazing service, will be back!

Always love their food here. Never disappointed, the chicken was so tasty and juice with the sambal it is so good. I always ask for the sweet sauce that comes with the fried fish to dip my chicken in! Their dessert hits the spot too. The homemade chendol is so good!

Chicken Leg Set ($16.30)

A once-humble hawker food elevated to Michelin Bib Gourmand listed status. Expensive for what it is (nasi lemak) but I have to say it's worth the quality and calories. The Jasmine rice was lemak, fluffy and fragrant that I could not stop eating after mixing in the sambal (which could be spicier). The chicken leg was relatively huge and it was crispy and encrusted with flavours and spices that I ate the skin; and the meat was tender and moist. Overall a satisfying and substantial meal and I'm glad to see a local dish given its due status.

Look at that huge serving of nasi lemak, they definitely were not stingy with the sambal! We quite love the fragrance of the rice, and the chicken was crispy. Was expecting more flavours from the chicken, but it felt pretty dry for me. Overall it was a pleasant meal, but seems to be lacking the wow factor! If you happen to be in the area and don’t mind queueing, you can give this a try.

Chicken Leg Nasi Lemak (S$14.80++)
Served with a serving of coconut rice, anchovies, peanut, cucumber, fried egg, and sambal.

The rice was yummy. I can just eat it with rich spicy sambal!
