Waited more than 30 mins for the food (were told 15 mins) on a sat afternn. Only one plate arrived, next plate arrived without mushrooms and the "over Easy" eggs had a layer of oil on it. Sausages were tad salty. Overall portion is decent but experience falls slightly below our expectation
Love the truffle eggs
simple but satisfying burger! all the components were executed well β toasty buns, creamy scrambled eggs and bacon was flavourful yet not too oily ππ»itβs served with curly fries, which was good as usual
potato hash patty with smoked salmon, sour cream, baby spinach, radish slices, ikura and a poached egg on the side. looked small but it turned out to be filling enough! hash was super crispy and flavourful and they were v generous with the smoked salmon!! π€© the only letdown was the poached egg which wasnβt runny :β(
we tried mocha, spicy crab linguine, and miso salmon! a unique twist on pasta, not salty and dense feeling :)
We popped by The Coffee Academics at Raffles City for one of the more unique coffees on their menu and this time, we settled on the manuka honey latte. This cuppa is basically your usual latte with manuka honey drizzled over it! The honey adds a pretty nice sweetness on top of the slight sourish taste of the coffee below. If you want to enjoy both the honey and the coffee separately, we suggest not to mix the drink before drinking! π Otherwise, feel free to mix it up by giving the drink a nice stir.
Decent concoction for $6.50++ and we may consider getting this again for our next visit. The Coffee Academics wasn't very crowded on a weekday evening so it is definitely a nice place to have a conversation; however, we were a little disappointed by their rather limited menu as most of the items seem to have been sold out by then.
