This dish was definitely better than the Bibimbap. It wasn't too salty and there was more beef. Again, the rice was too much haha. I'll rate this 8.5/10! They are currently having a promotion! You'll get a free drink and a scoop of ice cream with every main dish ordered! Sold.

This dish was just alright as I've eaten better Bibimbap elsewhere. The meat was too little but they were super generous on the amount of rice (good for big eaters). Overall I'll rate it a 7/10. They are currently having a promotion! There is a choice of a free drink and a scoop of ice cream with every main dish ordered!

Turns out the salad is just lettuce. No longer served in the cup when you dine in but I guess its better to use proper cutlery that's reusable. Bulgogi was not bad!

We were looking around for cheap
Korean eats in Dhoby Ghaut area other than Kim Dae Mun and chanced upon the cup. Prices of their dishes, from appetizers to noodles to rice sets, are rather wallet friendly.

A jjigae set comes with a bowl of gardenia seed rice originally but I wanted noodles instead. They were nice to change to glass noodles! I had the kimchi jjigae which is actually a traditional Korean kimchi stew with lots of sliced pork. It's stated as level 2 spiciness, but I don't really find it that spicy considering that I can't really take chilli even, so it's really bearable. Just feels so shiok and to stay warm by having this on a rainy day. Lots of sliced onion in the soup as well, gives a sharp twist to the slightly sour-spicy broth. Tofu never goes missing in a kimchi stew but what's more special is that they actually add strips of fried egg edges on top! Just for a change in texture I suppose.

If you’re in the area and want food without preservatives then here’s the place to visit cause trust me, it does taste different.

We tried their tteokbokki, noodles and some others but what left the strongest impression on me was what went along with the meals - soup, sides and drinks which honestly tied the meal together a lot more.

@thecup.sg has been one of my favorite go to place for some tasty and good quality Korean Cuisine. Their bibimbap and a Japchae are one of my top favorites 🍝πŸ₯—πŸ₯˜ #handsinframe
