Daily Cut provides the protein, carbo and veg options depending on your needs though the price is slightly on the high side, but it's well loved by the CBD crowd.

Basically great portion and food! Can't go wrong with them. Plus they're among one of those that open till quite late thus its great for those that's doing OT or just hitting the gym.

I got the food at nearly 9pm.
Just note that it isn't the cheapest but you can use Shopback Go to get cashback lah.

On a side note, they have a macros calculator on their website too! Very useful if you're counting calories and /or counting your macros.

Is it just me? Each time I eat at The Daily Cut, after the first mouthful I find it too oily for my liking. I come here wanting to eat healthier, & oil isn't part of my must-eat.

The last time I dined here, I ordered the steak as well & paid extra for it. It was so tough that I broke TWO forks in TWO places, thereafter vowing never to eat steak at a place that uses only plastic cutlery. I didn't even finish the beef because I was so tired of chewing.

Fast forward 3 years; the quality of the steak has definitely improved. But the oilyness that I remember still remains. I mean, I'd still finish the bowl, but.... #justsayin

I ordered the regular ($12 nett) bowl which comes with 2 bases, 1 protein (which you can substitute for 3 vegetarian-friendly supplements, 3 supplements, 1 topping, 1 dressing.

This is what I got -
路 Bases: Whole-grain pasta & quinoa
路 Protein: Striploin steak (+$1)
路 Supplements: Bell peppers, brussels sprouts, egg whites, button mushrooms (I added $1 because I opted for an extra supplement)
路 Topping: Toasted pumpkin seeds
路 Dressing: Mint yogurt (which I eventually donated to a friend I bumped into)

Thankfully I had a 10% cashback boost from Shopback GO to lessen the pain. Still, though, not sure if I'd return here again. At least not in the next 3 years.

Sadly they forgot about The Brussels sprouts. Guess I have to go back for it next time

Would say it's a pretty decent bowl of salad. However it's slightly pricey (can't afford to have this everyday sobs). What I love the most is their purple sweet potatoes - it has this creamy texture and it's sweet. It feels like I'm having a healthy ice cream 馃槀 Their kimchi are surprisingly good too, something I wouldn't expect since they are not even a Korean restaurant. Their cherry tomatoes are fresh and juicy (I guess that's why I love their food from my head TOMATOES!). I like their teriyaki chicken too - the sauce is not too overpowering and it goes really well with my chilled soba. For the dressing wise would recommend getting the peri peri or the pesto vinaigrette (and not the one with olive oil haha oops). Anyway their onsen egg is a little overcooked 馃槄 so you might wanna take note of that.
