The build your own bowls from Daily Cut really makes dieting less depressing 😂 I really liked the curried cauliflower, charred cabbage with chilli oil and the salmon fillets!⁣

Boyfriend’s scoop of avocado looks so smooth and creamy 🥑 Gotta get that next time! ⁣

Finally got to try the purple sweet potato mash after eyeing it since they started offering it. Loved the thick and creamy mash thats packed with natural sweetness of sweet potato! Also had the chilled soba but i think i prefer the pasta.

I usually go for the teriyaki chicken thigh, but wanted to try the chicken breast this time. Super tough and dry though 😩 Perhaps it would have been better if it was sous-vide and also cut into smaller bite-sized chunk like the chicken thigh. Also rather bland-tasting hence its lucky that i went for shichimi topping which gave a nice burst of spice and flavour.


Pretty pricey but fulfils quality and wholesomeness. ($12-$14 for a standard portion)

Good and Interesting Picks:

- Baby Corn
- Maple-glazed Tempeh
- Button Mushrooms

Everything else is pretty alright.

- Salmon Fillet (paid +$2 more to get dried out salmon)
- Garlic and Chili Olive Oil (not much taste and literally oil)

Look at this bulging bowl of goodness :D the box could barely fit this. But finally trying the 'OG meal prep place' as my dining partner puts it.

$15 bought me 2 bases (romaine, purple mashed sweet potato), 2 proteins (chicken breast, chili-lime shrimp), 3 supplements (broccoli, maple-glazed tempeh, egg whites), 1 topping (pomegranate seeds) and 1 dressing (honey mustard). To be honest the dressing is quite unnecessary; all the food is pretty well seasoned already so I only used it as a dipping sauce for the romaine. Or perhaps the lime squeeze might have been a better option.

The standouts to me were the chili-lime shrimp, which were fresh and crunchy with just the right amount of tanginess and spiciness from the seasoning. The tempeh is a good option for vegans and vegetarians looking for their protein fix; it was flavorful although I could barely taste the maple glaze.

All in all, not my favorite healthy salad place (personally I prefer more simply cooked food rather than the deluge of clashing flavors I got here) to eat in the CBD, but definitely worth it for the price and generous serving.
