Haven’t had The Daily Scoop in years lol I felt like a secondary school kid here. The waffles weren’t as I remember it to be though so I was a little sad. Ice cream was top notch as usual though.

This did not live up to my expectations.

The waffle was soft and spongy, but I usually prefer waffles that are crispy. There isn’t any flavour in the waffle as well.

I ordered the red velvet ice cream, but it tastes like vanilla ice cream with cookie bits.

Maybe I will give the other ice cream flavours another try next time!

Paired the new lychee basil sorbet with my all-time favourite coconut ($7 + $0.50 for cone)! Tastes like your childhood lychee jelly on first impression, but the sorbet is refreshing and I liked the chewy bits of lychee inside.

Tried the yuzu gin ($3.80 + $0.50 for cone) during an earlier visit and found it sorely lacking - tasted like juice concentrate with its sticky one-dimensional sweetness and nary a hint of alcohol. Also a very measly-sized scoop!

Overly sweet sesame ice cream - quite a disappointment- was craving for a good authentic black sesame ice cream and leaped for joy when I saw it on daily scoop’s seasonal menu .

The waffles were too thin and airy - almost like eating air . Pretty good for the calorie conscious but barley hitting the mark for a genuine waffle.

The best was probably the waffle cone 😁.

Not very impressed with my trip down this time .

Hope standards improve soon .

Lychee martini on their sugar cinnamon waffle. Ice cream was light yet full of lychee flavour. There were some chunks of lychee in them. The waffle sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar was crispy and went really well with this scoop of ice cream.
