$8.5. Ok might not have gotten this without the 1 for 1 because it’s above my budget but glad I got to try this! They let you choose which % / origin you want. This 72% one was about just nice for me - not too sweet or bitter. The seats aren’t the most comfortable but they kind souls let us sit there and do our work :”)

Different chocolate Ice creams ($14)
And
Brownie and coffee ($14)

For the price of $14, the brownie is slightly too small, however the coffee is decent.

The ice cream is quite interesting, considering there are 3 different flavours of 70% of varying types of chocolate. For non chocolate lovers I wouldn’t think you would be able to tell the difference though.

Overall would say it’s decent but not the best/ most impressive but worth the try!

Presentation could be improved

With the Single Origin Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Platter ($14), I was presented three different 70% Single Origin Dark Chocolates to sample - CUBA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC and COSTA RICA. The former with notes of red berries and wood, my favourite was the one from Dominican Republic with refreshing floral spiced profile and lastly from Costa Rica came a pleasant combination of roasted nuts and coffee. A tad of an overdose, the creamy scoops were surprisingly distinct in flavour with mostly bitter undertones that chocolate lovers will surely enjoy.

I love all sorts of chocolates but dark decadent ones hold a special place in my heart, hence The Dark Gallery’s Chocolate Tasting Platters are hard to beat especially with Burpple Beyond deals.

The Chocolate & Coffee Pairing ($14) is perfect if you are in need of a perk-me-up with your dessert. Served with their 75% Tanzanian Mocha, the dark chocolate brownie was moist, a little dense, rich yet balanced with a subtly sweet gooey sauce slathered right atop. The best part was that the bake came slightly warm matching the ice creams from the platter exceptionally well.

Discovered the dark, again, when I tried their waffles along with a scoop of 80% dark choc and another scoop of salty peanut butter ice cream. I have to praise the waffle for being crispy outside and really fluffy inside. It is quite light, and not very dense. The dark chocolate ice cream was still as good, but just a little sweet for me, and the salty peanut butter ice cream could be a new favourite as I liked the mix of sweet and salty. There are a number of toppings you can choose from, and we had the caramelized almonds. Any ice cream day is a happy day.

I've been wanting to try this for ages! It's pricey but with Beyond, it's so much more affordable.

I don't remember the flavours exactly but if you are a fan of dark chocolate, you can't really go wrong. It's rich and dense, promising a really good experience.
