Never before has the world needed more integration and inclusivity than it does now. Never before have people more eagerly yearned for an oasis to escape to, to reset and renew. The Dempsey Project is precisely that. Nestled in the barracks of Dempsey hill where the nutmeg plantations once stood tall, it refuses to be put in a rigid box, simply because, no matter when you walk in and who with, you are stepping into a place that feels just right. As you settle into the communal dining space inside or in one of the wicker chairs outside, The Dempsey Project vibe compels you to put your phone away and just relax. A quick look at the menu and you find yourself navigating a boundary-less world of cuisines - from the classic Avo on toast to the flavorful za'atar baked eggs and from wellness-infused Ayurveda khichdi to the 9 hour slow cooked pork ribs, it doesn’t get more diverse and wholesome than this. If you’re gluten free, vegan or on a paleo diet, you will not feel marginalized because a hearty offering awaits you too. We are open for breakfast, lunch, brunch, afternoon tea, light bites and dinner seven days a week. Our indulgent cheese boards complement a wonderful suite of wines and our in-house bakery offers guilty and guilt free pleasure in equal measure. Hosting at home? We have handpicked small-batch, artisanal produce from all over the world that you can buy off-the-shelf. Our values are our reason to be. We source ethically grown produce that nurtures the livelihoods of communities that cultivate it and the body, mind and soul of those who consume it. The only thing that exceeds our love for food is watching our guests enjoy the food we make. We welcome you to The Dempsey Project experience.

Nice ambience although it’s much more cramped than under previous ownership as Jones the grocer. Excellent, attentive service. The food is good but nothing extraordinary to write home about. Certainly not worth $60-70 per pax! You can get same-quality food for much less elsewhere. Vast majority of customers are expats - even wealthy Indians who come here to eat curry!?!

i wouldn’t get this again. the angel hair pasta j reminded me of a western mee sua, too clumpy because of the thick sauce which made the noodles stick together rather than be coated strands. crab meat portion was on the lesser side and were in rly small chunks, overall the dish was a bit heavy on the palate and one dimensional.

fries were SO good and thick and potatoey and genuine. burger not bad! bun was rly good but patty was a bit dry not that juicy. overall not bad tho esp complemented by the other components of the burger ie the cheese, onion chips etc
