I can’t rmbr the price for this. But this is a good appetiser to share!

Yes, this dish is good and is spicy. The presentation is great as well - but if you want to eat “la zhi ji”, head to chinatown and get it at $10 a plate.

This dish takes awhile to prepare - so be sure to ask for ALL food to be served if not you will have nothing to pair it with.

The beef is tender but the sauce is more on the sweet side.

I would say skip this dish if you are debating between others.

The 6 of us also ordered Wagyu Truffle Beef Hor Fun (3-4 people portion) to share, so each person only gets a small bowl to try as the portion is quite little. We like how the horfun has crispy bits inside and with every small bite, we get a heavenly waft of truffle aroma. 😍

Overall pretty cool entrance to the hidden restaurant behind but also a little waste of space for the facade on the front as it seems to be just empty for now. 🤔

Went to try the food with a party of 6. Ordered the popular Firecracker Chicken and Maple Fritters and wow, it was amazing! The chicken was very spicy and a little ma, essentially it is 辣子鸡 with a good portion of chicken (unlike other restaurants that served more chilli than chicken bits). Not really a fan of the maple youtiaos as it’s very sweet and quite hard to chew.

Now this is no longer about fear factor, but erm, crocodile’s dick? Let’s just say the bunch that night was all out for some exotic food. Dishes like this fits just perfectly to the speakeasy theme of The Dragon Chamber, which really pushes diners out of the comfort zone.

A chicken and pork based herbal soup double-boiled for 6 hours, featuring the crocodile’s penis. Expectedly, everyone was looking forward to a piece of the dick. Honestly, there wasn’t much taste to it. Again a slimy texture, this time round reminded me of some fats. Soup base was lightly sweet, with some Chinese herbs. For first timers, I would recommend sharing.
