Juicy, tender. Hearty burger for any day! Although the sharp taste of salt calls for gulps of water after. This over the steak actually. Great ambience, dark, futuristic and warm lights. Free popcorn while you wait for food to arrive.

Served medium rare only, these feather blades of steak where cooked to perfection! Nice chew with salt and pepper seasoning sprinkled across the plate, topped with some scallions. It’s great if you’re looking for clean, nice beef but not for one looking for a hearty, heavily smoked or flavoured meat cut. $11++ for 100g.

Unlike most other steakhouses, their specialty (and only cut of beef served), the Feather Blade Steak ($21++) gives them a lot to shout about.

One bite of the steak was all it took to convince me how a relatively tougher and “chewier” cut of beef could be made super tasty. Their “sous-vide” method for cooking steaks maintained a consistent texture throughout, accentuating the flavours of the steak while giving it a rich, succulent taste.

There are also their personally-curated sides ($7) to go along with their steaks, and I’d highly recommend their Mushroom Medley and their Potatoes “Fried in Beef Fat” as they were absolutely tantalising complements to my steak.

The Blood Orange Old Fashioned bourbon-infused cocktail($13++) was a refreshing pairing as well, considering the scorching hot weather outside.

Overall, The Feather Blade is a “should-try” for foodies and steak-lovers alike, mainly for an interesting dining experience that just might switch your preference towards more alternative and tasty cuts of beef.

Tasted just alright despite the great hype and the need for reservation during the weekends. Probably will not come back again.

The spinach side was the most memorable. Foie gras was not bad. The steak were both mediocre, texture was still kinda chewy, not really worth the hype. Need to pay extra for sauce. Staff serving outside was overall friendly but was initially busy with the queue and missed out our requests.

quite a juicy and tender steak! heard flat iron is quite hard to execute well but this place does their flat iron steaks well. definitely not the juiciest or the most tender but reasonably so, especially at its price point. was slightly chewy as well (in a good way); quite an interesting texture compared to other steaks i’ve had.

ps. get the creamed spinach ($7)! it’s very cheesy, savoury and rich without being too jelat.

$21 + service charge | 8/10 🌟

@thefeatherblade: really salivating as I’m typing this right now 😭😭😭 This was 1 of the first few meals I was excited to have after Phase 2 started and I gotta say it’s worth the hype!! I loved that the scallops had a nice char and were an amazing bite without being too fishy!!! The beef was also done so well and wasn’t too tough or chewy 👌👌👌I also ordered a side of creamed spinach and it was good but a lil jelat (so it’s better to share it!!)
Will DEFO go back there soon to try more sides!!!
