No stranger to the Indian food scene is this popular vegetarian spot known for their wholesome and value-for-money thali sets. Perfect for lunch is the Ganga G-Light (from RM8) featuring choices of brown rice or chapati, served alongside two vegetable dishes of the day, dhal, papadom and a salad. Early-risers should come for breakfast and break into the crispy Rawa Thosai (RM3.20) which Burppler R D says is served with "mindblowingly delicious" curries and chutneys.

Will always come here for the palak paneer & Ganga crush (super refreshing drink)

Delicious vegetarian cuisine.

Opted for the thali for lunch.

They have 2 sizes: small (with 3 veges) and standard (with 4 veges). You can choose between chapati or rice. The curry wasn’t spicy enough for me, might be ok for those with lower tolerance for spiciness. I had it with chapati and the portion was just right for me. If you have a big appetite, this isn’t the thing for you.

The small is RM8 while the standard is RM11.

One of my favourite snacks. First time trying the one here.

The puri is slightly thicker and harder compare to the ones I’ve had. So I find it a bit hard to eat it in one mouthful. They also put the tamarind chutney in the puris instead of giving it in a bowl and letting you do it yourself.

Overall, it was delicious and I enjoyed it.

This is RM11.

The Ganga Cafe is well-loved for their yummy curries, breads and thali sets. It’s hard to pinpoint the best dish — they're all delicious! — so here are some must-haves: the crispy Masala Thosai (RM4.70) and the aromatic Vegetarian Mutton Curry (RM5). Alternatively, order the Thali (from RM8) to savour a bit of everything – this comes with rice or bread with vegetables, pappadom and salad.

A place that I always came back for their thali meal. Brown rice served with different type of vegetable side dish and gravy.

We also had the masala tossai for sharing. Crispy thin tossai filled with potato, by far my favourite tossai combination.

Trying out the Indian version of ice cream for the first time as well, so creamy and full of wonderful nuttiness from pistachio. Do give it a try if you never had Indian version of ice cream before.
