Theirs is one of the best, it's deep fried so exterior is crunchy, and interior was quite fluffy. Seafood was reasonably generous too

The crisp dissipates though, so eat quickly. Further the sauce is quite weak

Very intensely seasoned w kimchiness, which rare. This alr makes it one of the better ones

Free flow except marinated egg

The quality of the spread was exceptional
Two kinds of kimchi were both fine, the veggies had some light bean paste, the fish cake was very flavourful, and the potato strips were super fragrant from sesame oil. Egg was nicely marinated and not dry

Lovely, we got a lot of refills

Third time at this place but first time trying the non-bbq dishes. We ordered the bean paste soondubu soup, Korean fried chicken (which was nicely paired and fried together with teokkboki), and the seafood pancake (which came with generous helpings of prawns and squid). The free-flow sides were tasty and could be eaten on its own. Will definitely be back for a return visit.

Star of the meal was the fluffy Seafood Pancake ($20) that was generously stuffed with huge juicy prawns and squid. Ginseng chicken soup ($18) came in a huge bowl too. Price was slightly above average but the quality and experience was good. Will come back to try their bbq

The GOGI is Alexandra’s hidden Korean BBQ gem. Run by a Korean fam the grilled meats & soups are well-received and the place is usually full. For me i just want a bowl of cold noodles some days. This one is served slushy icy cold and is perfect on a hot day or when you just want something light tangy & refreshing.
