great quality cuts and cosy atmosphere, staff were also very friendly and helped with grilling the whole way :)
Tried House of Chungdam recently and it greattt! The whole experience feels like a stylish and elevated KBBQ, they have a wide variety of meats to choose from and they will cook the meat for you, so you can just sit back and enjoy. Besides the meat, highly recommend their kimchi cheese pancake too! Such a wonderful dining experience, I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!
If you're looking for a polished and minimalist k bbq restaurant, The House Chungdam is it. There's a wide selection of meats available, and even set options if you want to try different cuts. The kimchi cheese pancake was crispy and flavourful as well; would love to come and try the other dishes the next time! Shoutout to the staff for being so helpful and cooking the meat really well ❤️
We came for dinner on a Thursday night, and ordered the pork belly (duroc), 160g, the thinly sliced brisket, 200g, the mini noodles (cold), and the chicken-green onions jeon. Our meal also came with an array of banchan that were fresh, tasty, and paired wonderfully with the meats. While the meats and jeon were not bad, the star of the show definitely had to be the mini cold noodles and the pickled squid banchan. The refreshing taste of the cold noodle broth and the savoury, chewy bite of the squid were flavours we kept returning to throughout the night. I loved the freshness of the two veggie banchan options as well. We were initially considering getting some shaved ice for dessert, but were far too full due to the generous portions of each menu item ordered.
All of the meat were so juicy and tender! The meat was cooked medium rare which melts in your mouth, just the way we wanted it. There was also a variety of sides which allowed us to enjoy our meat in different ways, good service and good atmosphere.
The House Feast was great overall, and every item in the set was high quality. Both types of short ribs were really tender, and the brisket was just as good. Between the meat, the soup, and the sides, there wasn't a weak link in the meal.
