I had been eager to try this curious looking burnt cheesecake ever since The Kins’ opened and I’ve heard so many good things about it!

Safe to say, it met expectations 😌 this anti-cheesecake is everything a cheesecake shouldn’t be: burnt, jiggly & without the usual biscuit base. Despite all that, I’d say this is my new favourite way of enjoying cheesecake 🥰. It was light & my mum said it was reminiscent of the BAKE Hokkaido cheese tarts, just without the tart. Pretty accurate description I would say.

Not just their intensive choice of proper meals here, they also offered intensive choice of drinks here; including the cold brew tea series.

Peach melba is a caffeine-free tea mix of peaches, hibiscus, rosehips, apples and berries. $7

They have lots of choice for a proper meal here from brunch, main, pasta, rice bowl to salad.

I gotten their rice bowl which stir fried salmon cubes with teriyaki sauce, comes with snap peas, purple cabbage, onsen egg and torched broccoli on Japanese rice. Waiting time is expected. $20

Don’t stop with just their signature burnt cheesecake, grab their hojicha flavour as well. $8.50

I’m glad I texted them a day before for my reservation, this place always get very packed during weekend lunch time.

There’s queue when I arrive but I manage to grab the seat immediately with the reservation.

Coming here of course you shouldn’t leave without trying their signature burnt cheesecake. Melt immediately in your mouth, definitely worth it $8

The cheesecake interior was super soft and creamy! Personally preferred the original burnt cheesecake as it had more cheese taste while the hojicha one didn’t taste like cheesecake but more of a hojicha cake. Still really liked the texture for both cakes and would definitely return to satisfy my creamy burnt cheesecake cravings!
