Portion of their mains is huge can can be shared among family and friends.

What makes the Ramly burger nice has to be the Ramly sauce. However, the wagyu beef patty was overcooked this time which makes it dry.

The sambal goreng pengantin is a flavoursome plate of stir-fried linguine that is tossed with sambal goreng sauce, beef lungs. This dish is paired with big king prawns.

Crispy chicken wings coated with kecap manis sauce and sliced chilli padi. Every bite of the wings comes with sweet, salty and spicy flavours.

Best ondeh cake ever? Can't think of any better on my mind now.

This has certainly made me like ondeh ondeh as a cake.

The ambience here is very homely and the place feels very clean, neat and bright with natural sunlight.

The staff here very friendly and definitely makes me feel very welcome.

The ovaltine cake was quite good as well, but the ondeh ondeh cake just flipped the table on it. Plus the ondeh cake is cheapest of all the cakes avaliable.

Each slice of cake comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which compliments the cake well.

Excellent pastas, great cakes and spot-on service — there's not much left to be desired at The Malayan Council. You can count on the Lemak Padi Duck Pasta ($29) to blow you away with its umami smoked duck and creamy coconut broth. Save tummy space for the Classic Ondeh Ondeh Cake ($9.50). Every slice sports perfect layers of fluffy pandan sponge and pandan cream with gula Melaka bits!

Everything we order here is bombastically delicious. Fusion food traditional meets modern.

The menu looks costlly but the portion they gave is genorous. We order 3 cocktails, 2 appetizers, 2 mains and 2 deserts for 4 people. On top of that TMC genorouslly gave us complimentary sambal kicap buffalow wing 😱👍 and durian pengat cake 🥰. $163 for 4 people when it actually should be for 6 to 7 people. We tapau some of the food home. Thus price range is like $23 to $27 per pax to satisfy food cravings and fill the stomach to its peak.

TMC can be a weeklly or monthlly ocassion. Savoure the taste instead of filling the stomach. If accidentally order more than u can eat call me or call your friends. I am sure we will gladly finish up your food for you. 😊

Haven't had this for awhile & when I ordered it, it tastes exactly how I remembered it!

The Malayan Council's Ondeh Ondeh Cake is perhaps the most on point and similar to actual Ondeh ondeh. Every mouthful is filled with coconut shavings, soft Pandan sponge and sweet, thick, with crunchy bits of gula Melaka.

The perfect sweet ending to a meal!
