[Soft Shell Crab Waffle S$16] - soggy cinnamony-sweet waffles (those prepacked frozen ones u find in supermarkets) with soft shell crab & some lousy fries. Not worth the moolah at all!
No wastage of the actual metal tin!
I thought it was at the Student Hostel but it's actually on the hill behind it. Featuring the Messy Messy Nice Nice Mama Burger ($10.90) and the Ovomaltine Waffles ($4.90). Strongly recommend the burger!
Chunks of prawns, Canadian lobster with wasabi mayo sauce. Meh meh meh.
Local MediaCorp artistes Felicia Chin and Sora Ma have teamed up to open their first joint F&B venture - The Mama Shop, in the Old Police Operational Headquarters. This retro-themed cafe situated amidst the tranquility of Pearl Hill Terrace provides a chill space for friends to catch up and reminisce over old-school Ipoh white coffee, local desserts, waffles and burgers. It is not the most accessible cafe, but for a quiet respite from the busy city (or maybe even a chance to meet these ladies in person), it may be worth the trip.
