Had afternoon tea set. The food wasn't good- the sweets were especially bad. The cupcakes were dry and overly sweet. The sandwiches were ok/meh but you can easily make them yourself... Tea was ok. Overall, not worth the $$$.
Despite the colour, this isn't tomato base, it's prawn bisque. And although it's not the strongest bisque, at least it avoided becoming fishy. What really penalised the dish was the undercooked pasta. For a mid-tier restaurant it's unacceptable.
Pleasant surprise. I didn't hold much expectation. But the pork was large and fatty. Some people might find it too jelak or salty, but I could accept it. The roasted pumpkin mash was fine, while the apple-chilli chutney excited the taste buds and provided contrast. The sweet potato chips sadly were lao hong.
Had the spicy crabmeat pasta @ The marmalade pantry - -
It wasn't as good as i expected though, the pasta was quite dry and the sauce was not as flavourful.
Could be better !
(SGD $26)
Wow. Literally wow. The whole dish is so good. The prawns and scallops were so fresh and i drank the whole prawn bisque down to the very last drop. If you have entertainer, please come and try this dish. Worth it with the 1-for-1. You will not regret it.
This was served on a bed of pesto couscous. Didn't find this dish very special
