The thought of trying this dessert was exciting. But a few spoonfuls later, my taste buds were protesting. Gula melaka in yoghurt, paired with the taste of bread crumb batter and of course, camembert. Complete with granola. It's a medley that tastes as strange as it sounds.
Slightly confused by this dish which comprised of hainanese pork chop, bacon jam, picked mushrooms, 64 deg egg and rice. They were all served separately in different plates / bowls and apparently you're supposed to mix it all up into a glop to ingest. Well at least the pork chop was delicious. As if being deep fried isnt enough, the pork itself was melt-in-your-mouth kind of fatty.
interesting choice of flavors and pairing! Great food, great wines and ultimately great price. You’ll leave the place full and satisfied !
