Went there for the pizza but instead it was their mac n cheese that blew my goddamn mind. Would 💯 travel for it. The mac n cheese ($16) was rich, creamy, so damn savory BUT not gelat at all.
Also tried their arrancini ($9) and it was okay. Not the best i had.
Their garlic herb prawn ($12) were quite good. Prawns were really fresh and not overcooked.
Pizzas were all good, crust were thin but none of the pizzas were extraordinary. Favorite would be their mushroom pizza. If you enjoy pizzas and happen to be nearby, would recommend heading there for a good ole’ pizza but don’t expect to be wow-ed.
*1-for-1 only applied for the pizzas.
Downside: waited for nearly 2 hours cos the cashier completely forgot our order...

18 nett per pizza.
We ordered honey bacon, breakfast, seafood and cheese.

Their specialty is the honey bacon pizza. It sounds very simple, but somehow the sweetness of the honey complements the saltiness of the bacon well.

You might consider giving it a miss because what's so special about honey and bacon right?

Tip: eat the honey bacon last. Because the other flavours might pale in comparison.

It is tossed in a creamy sauce that was further enhanced in texture and taste by mixing in the 63 degree sous vide egg!

Note: Food photos were taken before the current circuit-breaker measure.

Decided to takeaway for my family during the circuit breaker, but the food was still really good when I reached home! The pizzas were delicious and the Arancini is a MUST TRY. Would definitely go back again, hopefully can dine in next time after the CB.

You'll find affordable and hearty Italian fare served in The Peel 1889, located in Serangoon Gardens. Burppler Ethel Tan recommends their Magherita Pizza ($18) with burrata which she describes as ""rich and creamy and...complements the pizza so well"". The Bacon Honey and Rocket Parma pizzas, both at $18, are must-orders too. Don't leave without ordering the Affocado ($8) dessert — a avocado twist to the classic Affogato!

Ordered takeaway thru foodpanda pickup for discount. Priced at $18 nett for most pizzas. Cheap and good! The truffle aroma is strong for the Arancini
