So the Protein Cafe recently revamped its menu, changing the names of the items and increasing prices across the board, but some of the items are still the same... 😅
Let's not talk about the sambal (because I will definitely say it's not spicy enough). The chicken breast that I had was a complete opposite to my low expectation of dry and tasteless meat. I opted for rice instead of potatoes, but apparently rice means fried rice. Proportion wise, as the name suggests, is meant for people who need protein more than carbs. Nevertheless, it was an unexpectedly good lunch.
Perfectly grilled salmon, the skin retains its crispness for quite a while as well. Paired with tangy lemon butter sauce, steamed broccoli & carrots and basmati chicken rice. ($8.50)
Generous serving of chicken with spicy, fragrant sambal, basmati chicken rice, & a side of crunchy achar ($4.80).
Only $8.50, I had the intention of eating clean but once I saw this beauty I had no hesitation about ordering it
In line with its healthy theme, the cream sauce was light & not too heavy on the cream, pretty good actually. $3.80 for 5 beef balls.
