Hands down to the best croissant in sg!! Their croissant is perfect; so fluffy and buttery. And only for $3.80????! Their butter complements well with the croissant as well. It wasn’t too melted nor too hard (unlike some cafes that serve butter that doesnt melt no matter how hard you try). Their cappuccino ($5) was super super good as well. Very fragrant & not too diluted. Definitely my favourite place for a simple breakfast!

This came with a very generous serving of beef cheek ragout, which was tender and flavourful! The pappardelle pasta itself was decent, was done al dente but was a wee bit harder than I like. The kale, mushroom and shaved parmesan were tasty and nicely rounded up the dish. This was a satisfying lunch option! Just that it’s a bit pricey and you can get fresh handmade pastas at the same price point.

Get this over the lobster mac and cheese (they use penne if I remember correctly), which my friend said was quite meh.

Ordered the English Breakfast ($22.50). Something that I always liked trying at all cafes. Choice of poached, scrambled or fried eggs. Comes with sautéed mushrooms, roasted tomato, grilled Shulz bacon, bratwurst sausage and sourdough toast.
Paired it with a cuppa hot white chocolate ($8.50).

I have always been a fan of Kki Sweets for their delicate desserts and the Soufflé Cheesecake ($8.50) I had at The Providore did not disappoint. The cheesecake is light and fluffy (almost like a mousse), has just the right amount of sweetness and is infused with a tinge of orange fragrance. So good!

My birthday cakes from The Providore. Don’t have a sweet tooth but bestie insisted on me getting these as it was my birthday celebration. Pricey for their size but these babies tasted as good as they look. Guess you could judge a book by its cover, sometimes.

Went for dessert post Autobus 1-1 protein lunch bowls which were very delicious (not featured cos too famished forgot to pic).
Foret Noir featured kirsch cherries with a dark chocolate ganache and the mont blancs chestnut puree had a generous dose of rum which made us excitedly finishing it with fast deft strokes. Notwithstanding the haze , brunch was a real breath of fresh air😜
