Nothing to shout about, a disappointment. Truffle taste not strong. Fries are normal thick cut.

Surprisingly this battered cauliflower sprinkled with shichimi is quite crunchy. Although the taste itself isn't that great but still quite addicting. Must be the shichimi, making it taste so much better. Dip to their wasabi mayo if you like to add some excitement to it.

Attracted by this refined fresh plumpy Scallop topped with ikura. Mmm... Tastisfying.๐Ÿฅฐ That bouncey texture and juiciness from within will make you feel zen.๐Ÿ˜‡

@therefinerysg changed my opinions on how cauliflowers can taste with the Frittos. It was so good! There isnโ€™t the earthy/flowery taste that I normally associate with cauliflowers and despite being deep fried, wasnโ€™t overwhelmingly oily but easy on the palates.

The nuggets were better than most that I have had but the curry mayo is the star of the show! Although it is said to be inspired by maccaโ€™s version, it has far surpassed it! And it packs a punch too on the heat scale!

The smoked duck rice bowl was very flavourful as well and the duck was cooked to perfection, imo.

Lastly, the cocktail. Although it cost as much as all the 3 dishes combined ๐Ÿ˜‚ it was great! It didnโ€™t really taste like an alcoholic beverage at all and had all the right zesty and floral notes of a lemon barley. Pretty sure the fianceฬe would love it too.

All in all, super impressed and would definitely be dining at @therefinerysg soon!

Loved their cosy ambience and hidden gem in lavender behind all the old industrial buildings! Good for weekend brunch and weekday dinner. Have to try their unagi ricebowl, salted egg rings and mentaiko fries. If you like raw salmon, they have tuna and salmon bowls as well (like chirashi)!!! Definitely coming back to try their coffee next time ๐Ÿ˜
