Lunch plus hightea combo = brunch... Lols... Pretty decent spread... Nice ambience and service... Free flow of tea and coffee... Especially the self do it laksa... The base was just nice and I really loved the dessert counter which has more than 30+ types to choose from and are delicate... Can feel the time b effort spent to make it so delicious whereby nowadays u go to alot of buffet and realise they are using the same desserts most likely they ordered it but not at Shang... Totally worth it... However for the hot and cold selections are quite rather normal and can have much better quality just anywhere... so not that impressed... But overall I am still satisfied because the service staff are really helpful and friendly which makes our day pretty awesome...

High Tea Buffet - $52
·
Always been the pick by Tai Tai as they can sit there and mingle for hours without being chased off. The environment is still classy, start the meal with a pot of Gryphon Tea paired with delicious scones. At counters they dish out standard high tea food such as their signature laksa, dim sum even sushi. Lots of small bites to select from but I loved the Beef Rendang the most. Plenty of desserts, there’s even chocolate fountain & DIY chocolate milk with chocolate cubes. Their chocolate mousse cake and durian roll cake is a must try. Pick a non peak weekday to enjoy the high tea proper

One of the highly sought after high tea buffet places in Singapore is The Rose Veranda, where weekday (Monday to Thursday) high tea happens from 11.30am to 5.00pm. That is more than 5 hours of eating, drinking and catching up with friends if you stay through the whole high tea service.

Other than a wide selection of premium teas (each patron is entitled to two types of beverages, additional charges may apply), I was spoiled by the range of food, including soups, sandwiches, rice, laksa, sashimi, dim sum, cheese, desserts and fruits. Though some food may taste pretty average, the variety was enough to keep my plates piled and my stomach bloated, not to mention that some food are just heavenly (points to desserts).

For stepping in early, I was in no hurry to try everything. Basically, it is a more-than-ideal place to have a date or small-group gathering, with a scenic view of the greenery outside. If you would ask me, I say that spending S$54.00 for a long high tea is a steal.

Just do note that reservation in advance is strongly encouraged, and that they offer a 3-hour complimentary parking for dine-in guests.

Most of the practitioners had no real understanding of the product & were abusing it, exploiting it in terrible & ridiculous ways. 🐮
.
Not all Wagyu Beef are Kobe but all Kobe Beef are Wagyu. However Kobe is not the only Wagyu Beef out there, there are many many great Wagyu from Prefectures like but not limited to; Matsusaka, Yonezawa, Mishima, Ōmi, Sanda & etc. Then there's the grade of beef, marbling, fat content & etc 🏵
.
Kobe beef should not be used in a hamburger. It's completely pointless. It's like fuelling Diesel on a Ferrari, sex with condom, mocktails in a bar, why on earth does one wants to even attempt to do that?! I guess even god can't help you. 🔖

ACAMASEATS & TIPS💮: One of the better High Tea Buffets in town. The variety of Sweets & Desserts offered is extensive especially if you are a Chocolate Connoisseur. A dedicated station where it encourages a hands on experience to craft your own Hot Chocolate from 5 different Blends. 🍫
.
Come here for the exquisite tea selection, with an impressive range of artisanal A.muse, Gryphon & Monogram teas they offer instead of their coffee. If sweets isn't for you they have a Cheese section as well but it's not impressive with just 4 safe options like Gouda, Blue - Stillton, Camembert & Port Salut. 🧀

But what it lacked in, it made up with quality. The Line is just bad. Laksa, Seafood Bouillabaisse, Beef Bourguignon & the Cold Station are some of the highlights.🍴
.
Usually High Tea Buffets are from 3pm - 6pm. Here it's 11.30am - 6pm, what's better is that there's no time limit so it's Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner basically. Luxurious Ambience, Delightful Food & Attentive Service with Gorgeous Waitresses, life can't be better than this. 🖖🏻

The coconut panna cotta with matcha crisp is on point! So is the sea salt caramel brownie.

Plating and sauce by yours truly. Clean taste but slightly chewy from the pink flesh. I prefer my lamb cooked to death and falling off the bone.

Just finished the savoury and starting on my cakes!

Loved the scones with their jam and cream here and their tea.... Yummy.

"We have complimentary soap for you mam". Oh...you mean soup. 😂

$42/pax (incl 1 type of refillable coffee/tea) but less justifiable for that quality of food, the standard has dropped tremendously or perhaps the food consistency is simply lacking..

Forget about the scones, today it tasted like undercooked floury dough..

The custard sleeping quietly in this creme brûlée was very curdy and eggy.. quite good.

This mung bean fills the Ang Ku Kueh in a less cloying manner except that the skin was slightly cold and hard to chew under the air conditioning hall.
