Choice of breast or thigh meat! For hot sides, you can pick 3 out of the 4 options they’ve got. So I got green peas, corn and cheesy baked cauliflower. The last option is mash potato. There is a thick brown gravy for the chicken and mash available. Not bad option for lunch! You can also opt for the cold sides, which changes daily or get fries (just fries, nothing else other than some seasoning on it that looks like Cajun or paprika)

While the Quarter Roasted Chicken with two incredibly generous sides ($12.50) is a CBD lunch staple for many, the modest Hamburger (with Bacon, $14) deserves a spotlight of its own. Just look at the gooey melted cheese draped over the juicy Angus beef patty and you know you've got a winner. Slap on a strip of bacon, some rocket leaves and a squeeze of mayo and barbecue sauce β€” it’s everything you need in a burger, nothing more, nothing less. The burger comes with a choice of either: three hot sides (creamed cauliflower, corn, peas, mashed potatoes), two of their salads of the day or hot chips (super addictive Cajun fries!) β€” so worth it.

Never knew this place whipped up a damn solid hamburger till I saw #BurppleTastemaker Nobelle's post β€” my previous visits were always for the then-$10 (now $12.50) lunch set comprising a quarter roast chicken + a choice of 2 as-generous-as-your-grandmother sides.

Unfortunately, the Γ  la carte option ($10) from the now defunct Rotisserie Express at CityLink's gone *cue πŸ’”*, but you can still get this no-frills but oh so tasty burger at their Telok Ayer and MBFC outlets. Priced at $14, it comes with a choice of either three hot sides (creamed cauliflower, corn, peas, mashed potatoes) or two salads (get the rocket salad!) or hot chips (addictive Cajun fries)!

p.s. Tried the Schnitzel and Roast Chicken Burgers too, but I'd recommend you enjoy these as mains than their rather forgettable burger form.

Seems like a balanced bento set lunch. The chicken was really hard, but the delicious gravy (tastes like Oz's KFC mash potato gravy) makes up for it. The potatoes are a great tummy filler with very plain creamy sauce and the fruits are the best part of the meal (probably just because I like the refreshing difference in contrast to the dry chicken.

This Angus beef burger came with a thick juicy and moist patty, topped with two strips of grilled bacon, a slice of gooey melted cheese, a handful of arugula and BBQ sauce. It's simple, not at all fancy, but soooooo delicious - another perfect example of an underrated, fuss-free burger.

But here's the game-changer: this palm-sized burger goes for S$14 NETT, all day err day, WITH SIDES. 3 hot veggies, 2 salads, or plain ol' chips β€” take your pick. Like I'm sacrificing my portion(s) to recommend this, cause it's so damn good, and super worth the buck.
