The Salted Plum (Suntec City)

550 Wishlisted
As the reincarnation of the popular Taiwanese Zi Char Five Ten, The Salted Plum launched in March 2018 with a new menu that retains old signatures, and surprises with intriguing flavours. Never intending to replicate Taiwanese classics, The Salted Plum instead celebrates Taiwanese flavours, ingredients, and techniques while catering to the Singapore palate.

Tried TSP's food ytd for dinner and I must say, i really like it☺️

For the affordable prices and filling portions, you can try out their variety of dishes and you will not regret it👍🏻

Bought the chilli burnt chicken($10), cod fish($15) and bok choy($5) with 2 bowls of rice.

I would say, i really like the chicken and the fish and bok choy was yummy too!😋 It feels like homemade comfort food but its brought to the next level🥰 I would definitely visit again omg ratings 9/10!! Cant wait to try out other items on their menu😇

What’s even better now is that they are offering all-day rice bowls and the Burnt Chilli Chicken 2.0 Bowl is priced at $10. If you are new to The Salted Plum, this is a must order as you will get a generous portion of charred chicken thigh that has been marinated with Szechuan pepper and grilled Chinese chives. For this rice bowl, it comes with a base of short grain rice and is topped with a sous-vide egg to give that extra creaminess.

Well deserved Food King Food. Really worth the 3 Stars! Everyone should go ASAP if you have Shopback Go/Burpple Beyond as their 1-4-1 Ala-carte menu is ceasing this 31 Dec. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We ordered the
-Tripple Cooked Yam
-Burnt Chilli Chicken 2.0
-Pork Chop
and opt for Shiny Rice to go along. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Bagus eh. Their chicken 2.0 really pack a punch of spiciness after swallowing. It is good. Then, their pork chop. Its really my kind of meat to fat ratio and last but not least, the taro is wow. I don't normally eat taro in pieces but this is gold. Iike how it is crunchy yet soft on the inside. I will pay even if it is $5. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's pretty worth it without the 1-4-1 but I am sharing this quickly so you guys can give it a try over the next 4 days. We only paid $8.50 for all of these!!! Rating: 10/10

Finally here to try and thanks to burpple app, i get to try 2 sides. The burnt chicken is spicy so beware for those with low threshold.

Taiwanese Sausage Meat Patties ($10+):
Patties are so juicy and sweet with a slight charred taste! Goes perfectly with their chilli sauce with a bowl of rice!

Burnt Chilli Chicken 2.0 ($10+):
Chicken was very flavorful with many depths of flavor coming from the burnt chilli, kaffir lime leave, ginger and some other ingredients. Goes well with their chilli sauce and shiny rice!
