This afternoon tea experience will engage all five senses to tell its story, with artfully curated sweets and savoury treats to complement the fruity Ruinart Rosé and the luminous JOY by Dior. Here's what's going to happen:

The High Tea starts with a ceremonious Champagne Sabrage on entrance to The Drawing Room. Following which, they'll ignite your sense of smell by spritz of JOY by Dior, and the pouring of the Ruinart Rosé Champagne.

A St. Regis blendmaster would then showcase a range of curated tea blends, as they serve warm, fluffy amuse-bouche of Goats Cheese Gougères.

An elegant two-tiered high tea stand will then be introduced at the table, which includes
* Rosé Bavarois with Gula Melaka Cream on Raspberry Tartlet;
* Strawberry Éclair;
* Pistachio and Sakura Mousse with Confit Kumquat with spritz of Orange Blossom water;
* Lobster Mayonnaise Soft Bun Sandwich with Herring Caviar;

Haven’t tried the mooncakes myself but I’m counting on them to be fairly decent being from St Regis’s Yan Ting restaurant.⁣⁣

The truffle scent coming from this ham was irresistible, evident even before I opened the insulating bag that contained this. Imagine how much restraint I needed when shooting this, and clearly I don't have much - the time this ham took to move from the photo table to my dining table and to my tummy was way below record time.

The ham was delivered warm, and softer than other hams I've tried. It came with a meaty fibrous interior, and it was also less salty than others. My neighbor who's a huge fan of festive treats said this is the easily the best ham he has tried. For $168, you get 3kg of this ham (I'm guessing it can feed a party of 15 to 20) with wild mushroom sauce, and generous servings of buttered vegetables and truffled mash (less than half the actual servings were pictured here).

The final course for this dinner brought out the child in me. I love desserts, and this time there are SIX of them.

We have an egg surprise with the burnt scent of mildly sweet caramel well infused throughout the interior of the egg, which fills a surprise core of chocolate; a light citrusy mango with coriander; a chocolate cake with strong scent of coffee; the pretty strawberry cheesecake on a meringue base; a light and almost ice-cream-like lychee with yoghurt; and strong zesty passionfruit with scent of shiso on a bed of well-separarated sticky rice.

And this concludes our meal, and all my posts for this dinner at the classy Brasserie Les Saveurs. To sum up the experience, the food was one that had all the intricacies of fine food, set in an elegant restaurant in the opulence of St Regis, but filled with the warmth of sharing and regional ingredients familiar to us.
