I realised that the menu is so colourful, full of different colour drinks. But Iโ€™d still prefer the normal bubble tea. Not a bubble tea fan, but I still think that the drink is good. They do serve dessert besides beverages.

Another exciting thing about this phase 2 would be finally we get to enjoy our bubble tea!

This bubble tea shop opened near my workplace early this year and finally got the chance to try them.

This blue colour drink probably attract you at first and you should actually try this.

The colour used a blue-green algae superfood but what you taste is actually the coconut milk. In the drink thereโ€™s also peach gum, which is much easier to bite.

Blue Whale Milktea $3.80
Really enjoyed my order really much. I had wanted to return to try out the souffle pancakes but couldn't make it back. I'm sold for its decor, pretty place to sit and chill with a friend. And the fragrance of the tea is amazing!

They also offer dessert options such as Wuliangye Ice Cream. It features a proprietary blend of cocoa, activated charcoal and Wuliangye (a Chinese baijiu made with a variety of grains). The smooth and rich ice cream is then sprinkled with gold powder and served in a charcoal chocolate cone that is made fresh in-stall daily.

Other ice cream flavours include the Electric Sea Salt, Durian and Strawberry with the latter two only available at their City Square Mall outlet.

The Whale Tea, one of the largest beverage and dessert stores in China, has swum to the shores of Singapore. They currently have 3 outlets here so far, with the latest being its flagship China Square Central outlet.

One of my favourite drink is the very tasty and instagrammable Volcanic Sapphire Whale, a three-layered photogenic creation made with blue spirulina, white coconut milk and amber peach gum. Love the flavourful taste overall and the peach gum added a chewy texture to the drink as well!

Besides IG-worthy drinks, you will also find at @thewhaletea.sg some icy treats! ๐Ÿฆ Their chocolate charcoal cone is made freshly in-house daily so youโ€™ll get that perfect crunch in every bite! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

This black beauty is their Wuliangye Ice Cream (ไบ”็ฒฎๆถฒ้‡‘ๅทงๅ†ฐๆท‡ๆท‹, $4.80) ๐Ÿ–ค, which features a proprietary blend of cocoa, activated charcoal & Wuliangye, a Chinese white wine made with a variety of grains! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Not knowing what I was in for, I first got hit by a lusciously rich milk chocolate soft serve ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿซ on my first mouth, which was sooooo alluring! ๐Ÿคค
.
Then came the pronounced alcohol taste of wuliangye wine ๐Ÿธ, which is not at all astringent but pretty aromatic! ๐Ÿ’• This treat is dusted with gold powder for an elegant finishing touch. ๐ŸŒŸ My advice is not to have this on a first date as it has the same effect as squid ink (it stains your teeth & mouth a little), or use this as a test for true love! โค Just kidding ๐Ÿ˜‚

Anyone would certainly be drawn to this pretty Electric Sea Salt Ice Cream (้—ช็”ตๆตท็›ๅ†ฐๆท‡ๆท‹, $4.50), which features sea salt soft serve ๐Ÿ’™ in their chocolate charcoal cone. The sprinkle of popping candy adds a fun & interesting element to this pretty one donned in pastel blue coat, a light & refreshing treat with its slightly salty taste profile. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

Time to head down for a WHALEY good treat! ๐Ÿณ
