The plating is done rather appetizingly but once we tuck in, we can’t help but think that we’d rather DIY this dish. Hard boiled egg and avocado are slightly soggy (the mayo dressing sauce doesn’t help much).

ordered the gongbao chicken with salsa and wholemeal ciabatta! it’s really good (maybe since i went after an exam 👅) and the flavours go really really well together. it’s really worth it and super filling too! would take this over subway any day 😍♥️

Living in the heartlands, especially mature estates, it gets pretty annoying to have limited access to healthy food options. But I'm glad I've one close to home - just above Bishan bus interchange!

The Wholefood Kitchen works by a simple DIY concept - simply select a base (brown rice, onion bagel, leafy salad and wholemeal wrap) to go with a protein. I loved that my salad was fresh and generous in amount, but the Lemongrass Grilled Tofu ($8) lacked flavour. The wholemeal wrap with Maple Mustard Tempeh ($10) fared better in terms of taste, and was equally wholesome.

Do check the opening hours for the week on their Facebook page as the cook-cum-owner runs on a hectic schedule, and get ready to wait for it least 20 mins because there's only one person doing everything!

chopped greens, pumpkin, avocadoes etc paired with rly generous servings of maple-glazed tempeh, topped with alfalfa sprouts and amazing sauces! it was rly rly tasty and filling imo so i’d say it’s worth it if you’ve never tried it before! 🤪

sadly they’ll be closing down at the end of the year so do hurry down to give their goods a taste before it’s gone! 💨💨 #sgvegan

Picked up some healthy takeout tonight! I got the Brown Rice and Lemongrass Tofu with Curried Cashews & the muffin of the day, which happened to be Papaya-Banana. I find it tough to enjoy brown rice, no matter how many times I try, but those curried cashews were something else! 😋 I paid $12 in total, well worth it for an entirely vegan meal.

The best way to reward your body is to feed it with what it needs .

So thankful to finally make my visit to wholefood kitchen and I am Glad I did .

The lemongrass Tofu With Brown rice and accompanied with a fresh salad ( Sgd 8) is so comforting for the tummy and the soul. You can opt to swap rice a wholemeal wrap , an onion bagel or more fresh salad . There are other options such as homemade lentil cauliflower patties or kong pao chicken or smoked Salmond avacado egg to pair your choice of rice or wrap with :)

The Flavours are light thereby allowing the natural sweetness of the fresh vegetables to shine through. Mixing the Tofu and the rice and the salad and the curried cashews together and you get a myriad of textures of crunchiness , nuttiness , sweetness and a tangy zest of lime.

The food is non pretentious . Just honest good and fresh food prepared by the lovely Chef / owner. She has so many regulars of whom she knows exactly what they can / can't eat or who needs gluten free and / or who has certain type food allergy.

You will be pleased to find a rotation of wholesome bakes of wholemeal muffins , loaf cakes and raw vegan cakes . Be sure to order in advance because they fly off the shelves.
