Mushroom Cheeseburger ($11) was so big omg and surprisingly good!! Beef patty was cooked medium-well but still retained it’s juiciness! Also liked the BBQ(?) sauce inside.
I also really wanted onion rings so I made it a set (+$3). I liked that the onion rings were encassed in a hard fried shell because it wouldn’t turn soggy :”)

Tasty burgers, soft bun, crispy hot onion rings. Quite value for money.

Located at King Albert Park, the wild restaurant is a double storey burger joint. The kitchen and payment is on the first storey while the seats and tables are accessible via a flight of steps. We ordered 2 burgers with additional sides: their highly recommended wild burger and one of their best sellers the garlic chicken burger. Nothing spectacular about them and the portion was quite small. For price being paid, I could easily go for carls jr which has mostrously big burgers.

Checked out The Wild’s newest location at King Albert Park; looking past the black buns, the burger was decent β€” coming with prawn paste chicken, the slab of fried chicken was tender and reasonably crisp with a lingering hint of umami prawn paste aroma. Otherwise, the burger offers no surprises; usual suspects such as the lettuce while patrons can opt for the set which comes with fries or corn β€” fries were well-salted and crisp on the exterior. Not too bad an option if in the area.

The Mushroom Soup ($6+) wasn't on the house - paid for it with an Eatigo 30% discount. I thought it was reasonable though would've been better if it were thicker, but my partner felt it was overly peppery.

The Pan Seared Salmon ($24+) was pretty dry, & the accompanying buttered rice wasn't buttery as much as it was served not hot.

Overall, though this was practically a free meal, we weren't too satisfied with what we ordered. Perhaps we should've ordered something else like a pizza or pasta... But hindsight is always 20/20.
