From the Burpple community

I think I am simple when it gives me so much satisfaction and joy to redeem an excellent burpplebeyond deal. Just being greeted by this display of baked goods made me so pleased; until I had a sip of the Ethiopian pour over coffee along with a bite of moist and dense gluten free orange tea cake. 2 words: pure bliss.
Not long after I find myself greedily finishing my pain au chocolate, which are one of the better croissants around town.

My second time here and I want to tell everyone that wired monkey is the place for great coffee and bakes.

Tried the hazelnut brownie, choc crossiant, latte and chamomile tea🍵 total $9 after burrple. we prefer the crossiant more and they heated it up in the oven 😊 cosy place to chill at. They sell coffee beans too😎 shall give it a try

Pretty Crowded on a Sunday morning!! But service was quick. The bakes were fresh (outsourced from the amazing @moncheri_girika), we had the banana loaf and cinnamon roll. French mint mocha was delightful and I absolutely love the coffee bean roasts!! Will be back☺️

My coffee lover of a friend, whom recently invested >$1k in a coffee machine & wares, vouched for the coffee here. Needless say we unequivocally enjoyed the different brews here; sorry I’m too amateur to critique on the technical details but rest assured I can tell a bad cuppa brew when I have one.

Thanks to Burpplebeyond u get to pair the brew with good bakes - from a home baker herself 😬

Found a nice little hangout called The Wired Monkey a stone’s throw away from Rochor MRT station. I love the vibes here; it’s cosy and chill. The air-con here is pretty strong too. The interior design isn’t complex, with a mish mash of coffee cups in a cubicle that made for an aesthetic art piece in the cafe. There is a small display of bakes and I would usually go for the lemon loaf because it’s tart and sweet at the same time, and goes superbly well with an iced americano.

Coffee is more acidic which I prefer non acidic instead. Small little place that cater only limited customers. Staff is friendly. Give it a try when you are nearby.
