this was miiiindblowingly good!!! I expected myself to prefer the burnt chili chicken as it was highly raved about on food king after all. but this plate of pork took my entire heart the whole dinner 😋 the combination of light crisp skin surrounding the perimeters of soft flavourful meat that had a good ratio of fats worked sooo well. I could finish a whole plate on my own HAHAHA just come and try it for yourselves!

after using burpple beyond it came up to $5.50/pax for 2 of us who ordered 2 bowls of rice, burnt chili chicken 2.0 and this plate of goodness. for the flavours and portion, that’s extremely worth it!

firstly I was really impressed by the huge portion! this angle may not have done the best job in portraying that but they piled up into a literal mini mountain 😄 the chicken cubes were tender and very flavourful, it paired really well with the rice. however, being a spice lover, I would have liked it more if they’d upped the spice level. despite that, I would definitely order this again because it’s definitely a plate of chicken done right.

Gather your colleagues for dinner at this cute spot in Raffles Place. Go for their dinner set which includes nine full-sized dishes with free-flow rice, red tea jelly and a decanter of their homemade drink. Also expect their delicious 10-hour sous-vide wagyu karubi steak, braised pork belly and burnt chilli chicken — yum!

Smell and taste fantastic good! $10 dish with 1 for 1 burpple. Beef is not in the list. I took Taiwan Sausage & fried mushrooms. All good. Canter drinks r good for 4 persons

The fried rice is just soso, white rice would’ve been better. Oyster mushroom and potatoes were good but portion kinda small and salty.
The spicy chicken though was AMAZING, so tender and v spicy! Portion was great! Would come back for that 💕

I remember back when they used to be called “Five Ten” and dishes were literally priced at $5/10, so when I popped by The Salted Plum I was more than a little taken aback by the price hike. Where I could get little nuggets of fried chicken with nori butter at $5, I could now only get cucumber or peanuts at the same price 🙃 Still I ain’t gonna complain cause I still maintain they sell among the best Taiwanese restaurant chows in Singapore. Take their Lala: sweet sweet sweeeeet clams are stir-fried with Taiwanese pesto (flavour’s very similar to preserved veggies I reckon) then topped with crispy pork croutons, resulting in a fantastically addictive and umami-packed dish and pork croutons. It was so packed with flavour I literally COULD. NOT. STOP.
