Tried this on my second visit to this Vietnamese eatery inside Orchard Towers. I think I tasted "kicap manis" (or the Vietnamese equivalent of it) as the noodles were a little sweet. Quite decent but not special. I'd pick their other dishes over this the next time.

This stuff is legitttttt. I can't believe it's taken me this long to come here! Wanted to try the pork but the ran out, but I'm so so so satisfied with the chicken. Darn tasty, with a good crunch from the peanuts and shallots. I love how well cooked their noodles are, and how generous they are with their greens! I'm so so so coming back here. The spring rolls are great too.

I discovered recently that besides the risqué nightclubs and Thai food eateries, Orchard Towers also houses a Vietnamese eatery on level four called "Thien Long". The lady who took my order was Vietnamese so I expected the dishes to be authentic and based on what I tried, they didn't fail.
For example, this $5 bowl of Vietnamese Pork Chop Noodles was a hefty portion of skinny rice noodles served at room temperature with lettuce, cucumber, mixed pickles, fresh herbs, fried shallots, scallion oil, groundnuts plus hot-off-the-grill pork.
Just ignore the radioactive shade of orange of the meat because it tasted fine. Obviously, it'd been marinated well and for a while, as it was flavourful.

Traditional Hakka yong tau foo — stuffed with sole fish-accented minced pork instead of the usual fish paste — with thick bee hoon and ladles of creamy laksa gravy. A sprinkle of chopped laksa leaves and slurp. Ok, that's all.

Questionable food preparation hygiene, but one mouth is all it takes to transport me back to Vietnam! Prepared by an auntie from ho chi minh, this is as authentic as it gets! $6 for a bowl, which is a tad pricey given the location, but still worth it!

After I saw the mouth watering picture of the dry Vietnamese rice vermicelli here, I was determine to have @jermainish bring me here one day. Not everyday I get to spend time with my favorite princess friend (??) hehe but when I do I have a good time. The underrated place gives the Vietnamese chains around Singapore a run for their money. My dish came with some generous portion of flawlessly flavored chicken along with a vegetable, peanuts & rice vermicelli concoction that the owner insist must be tossed with a fish-oil-sauce on the table. For the chilli lovers, you will meet your worthy contender, the stall's kick ass chilli sauce that is self-service (which also meant: I couldn't stop helping myself to.)
For this satisfying meal I would gladly ignore the obscurity of the place.
