You know it is good when you had it three times in a month.
Tad expensive. But really worth it.
Thanks to @deliveroo for making it available at my area.

$17 | Angus beef patty was soft and juicy! I’m in love with how the Insides of the patty were still red! Every bite was so flavourful and matches so well with the ketchup, cheese and spiced mayo! Would totally recommend!

House Fries
$5 | Fries were not oily, just that it was a little overcooked. House-made ketchup was really special as it was sweet and not like your usual ketchup that’s sour. Enough to share for 2 person.

Vanilla Milkshake
$10 | It was pretty thick hence quite difficult to drink through the straw. Sweetness was just right when matched with the fries!

Will advice to make a reservation before heading down as it really crowded and a long wait for walk ins.

Bun DMC ($18) 🍔
You certainly won't be 'running' from this burger! This playfully-named burger features a Tasmanian Vintage beef patty within two artisan brioche buns. With sauces like Three Islands mayo, ketchup, onion puree, and even watermelon relish covering the patty, the burger was far from dry and got me hooked from start to finish. That said, the patty itself was also perfectly pink in the middle and juicy. Given my encounters with them during carnival events, I expected no less from the Three Buns.

Dirty miso fries ($9) 🍟
I expected the miso fries to be gritty but the sauce tasted smooth and almost... caramel-like. It brought bursts of sweetness and umami flavours over the unique flat fries and was very enjoyable! My only concerns were its small portion size and the dry sausages.

Overall: the food was very good, the ambience alright, the service was good, but the prices too steep, especially when you can get their bangin' burgers for cheap at carnivals.

®️: 7.5/10

I never found time to try out @threebunssg, but they found me at home with @deliveroo_sg. Yeah, now I regret every single day that I’ve missed out on all their brilliant burgers. The Fun Boy Three ($26.75 before delivery charge) was a real fungi (geddit?) thanks to yuge portobello mushroom perched upon the thick, marvellously meaty beef patty.⠀

I like big burgs and I cannot lie, you other brothas can’t deny. I want ‘em real thick and juicy, and the Fun Boy Three definitely delivers. The Tasmanian Vintage beef patty is scintillatingly savoury, satisfyingly meaty, and jubilantly juicy. It could do with more char on the exterior, but that’s a minor nitpick in all honesty.

The earthy, moreish mushroom which has been swaddled in melted smoked applewood cheddar just increases the absolute satisfaction of each and every bite. The meat & mushroom is lubed up with a tremendously tantalising truffle aioli AND garlic miso butter, and the lubed up meat is jammed between two fluffy, pillowy and tanned big buns. That ain’t just satisfaction, that’s a food orgasm.

Three Buns’ house fries are absolutely addictive, and despite taking a 45 minute road trip to my crib, they were still compellingly crisp on the outside while being soft & savoury on the inside. Of course, it gets brought back to life after reheating for ten minutes in a conventional oven, and the burger gets a second wind after taking five in an oven.⠀

The Fun Boy Three is certainly expensive, but I’d be lying if I said that it wasn’t well worth every damn penny I invested into it.

Since having staycation nearby, I decided to order takeaway from here.

I got one of their popular burger which is the Dat Cheese Master that use Tasmanian Vintage beef patty topped with double ketchup, miso mustard, charred onions and double cheese in a toasted demi brioche bun. $17++
