Authentic and delicious stews, with great banchans. Very, very small portion of meat though.
💸: $12
💬: Found this pretty meh, mainly because I didn't like the mixing sauce which was too sweet ☹️☹️☹️
Tatse alright... Didn't enjoy it enough that I want to go back. Don't recommended these dishes. Might be better to go for the soups and hotpot instead. Each dish was $12 excluding gst and service tax
The noodles were chewy and the soup was light and refreshing. Perfect for Singapore’s hot weather! But the meat was kinda on the tough side.
Definitely one of the better army stew I’ve had! Service was good as the lady boss noticed and re-filled soup for us despite the crazy crowd. They serve a pretty good variety of tasty banchan too!
The queueing system is a little messy because it’s really crowded and the restaurant space is pretty small. Making a reservation helps to get you in a tad bit faster only as there’s a really long walk-in queue.
This features a large sizzling hotplate piled with ingredients.

There's chewy tteokbokki / ddukbokki / rice cakes which take on the spicy savoury sweet gravy and become so flavourful, as well as crunchy cabbage and cucumbers with vegetal sweet notes.

But the highlight is the medium-sized chunks of whole baby octopus, bouncy and chewy in texture, literally bursting with juices (which squirts out when bit, splashing everywhere and possibly scalding your mouth).

Great spicy savoury sweet flavours here.
