There's always a long queue at this stall and now I know why. For $4.50, I got roasted chicken, char siew and an egg, and the portion was quite generous! (The crackling siew yoke was stolen from my colleague hehe). Char siew was really tasty although it might be even better with a littttttle crispier charred bits. Chicken was juicy, and siewyoke was just the way it should be - crispy crackling skin, melt-in-the-mouth, and sinful. Not a chilli person but the sambal chilli was quite nice.
Kway chap. I swapped out the gluten ingredients for more mushrooms. Chilli is pretty tasty and spicy! I would eat this again. $5
($5.50 with choice of noodle/rice/meesua/beehoon) Thought it'd comprise of fried and sliced fish but there were only sliced fish and prawns. Overheard fried fish was sold out in the morning?! I usually like fish soup with milk but this clear soup was already quite tasty, with sweetness from wolfberries. Not very generous with ingredients though.
Slurps lunch for $5!
Generous with their fish helpings, super tasty
