The portion for 2 Steamed chicken was dressed with scallion as well as coriander and drenched with the piquant sauce that most chicken rice stalls would use. The meat was smooth and tender with transparent layers of "collagen" found on the underside of the skin.

Was craving for Tian Tian Chicken Rice, but wanted to skip the queue at Maxwell Food Centre. Went to this branch at Bedok for takeaway. Tian Tian’s winning formula had to be the rice. It was so fragrant and tasty that I could eat it on its own. The chicken was soaked in an ice bath prior for a firmer texture. It was so smooth and juicy. The Thai style Beancurd was a good add on as well.
Got my cravings satisfied at the Simpang Bedok Branch! Few days ago I went to the Maxwell branch but was disappointed with the pathetic amount of chicken atop my rice despite ordering the medium size @ $5. This time, I ordered half a bird @ $14+, (maxwell's branch is priced at $12 nett) rice was at $0.80+ per portion & a good plate of chicken gizzards at $4+. Portion was very (overly) filling for 1 hungry tummy & 1 small tummy. Chicken was perfect - the gelatin skin was 😋, and the sauce which the chicken was bathed in was super tasty! Chili was excellent....I don't usually take chili, but this was soooo good. Service was good too, fully air conditioned, thus there was a service charge too. Head over to this branch for those who can't stand the heat. Will definitely visit again and order the same amount. P.s. Despite it being too much for 2, we still finished the whole meal. Haha.
The dish that Gordon Ramsay will have no chance to beat. You never got to wait for a table at this branch.
