Had the salmon bowl and the mala pork bowl, and we enjoyed both. We redeemed Burpple’s 1 for 1 here and it made it even more value for money! The salmon was fresh and was drizzled with generous helpings of ikura, and the mala pork was pretty tasty too, even though we found that the mala was a lot more numbing (‘ma’) than spicy (‘la’). Will be back to try their other offerings!

Finally made a trip down to Little India to try this much raved about rice bowls!

We got the mala pork collar ($10) and the sweet and spicy pork belly bowl ($10), and added on the onsen egg ($1.50). Definitely value for money, especially when it is 1 for 1 with burpple beyond! We paid a total of $13 for these two absolutely delish bowls. Meat serving was generous, rice was good quality. Definitely a good bargain, and will definitely visit again to try the other options if I am around the area.

Decided to have a late lunch here and the food didnt fail to impress. I ordered the mala pork and sweet and spicy pork plus a pork porridge for my daughter. All were equallu good! No one mentioned abouy the porridge but it's a must try especially if you have a young kid. He/she will love it! Will be back. =)

Popped by this place for a quick dinner, got the braised pork (lu rou) and mala pork collar rice bowl. The braised pork was tender and the fats not overwhelming, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it wasn't too salty at all. Just that the food wasn't that hot when it was served. The mala pork collar was slightly overbearing on the "'Ma" side, but reasonable for the "la". Meat was tender and soft which was delightful, but as for ma personal tastebuds, I would recommend the braised pork!

Pork Belly glazed in a sweet, sour and spicy sauce served with vegetables, a sous vide egg and rice. Generous ingredients for affordable price- This costs less than $10. Served in an old fashioned metal bowl that brings back the old times. Glorious vintage and nolstalgic decor.

1-for-1 : meehoonkueh and pork rice! Great place esp if you love pork with soft texture and the portion was just nice. Prefers the pork rice over the mhk in general
