Finally got around to trying tiger sugar!! I really liked the richness of the brown sugar fresh milk here compared to other places, definitely one of the best for me. Wished there was less ice though, and the pearls were a bit on the softer side, would have preferred more of a bite. Overall, pretty good, but wouldn’t queue for it. Thankfully, the Chinatown Point outlet rarely has a queue. P.s. “pearls” on their menu refer to the normal sized bubbles, while “boba” refer to the mini pearls! You can get a drink with both pearls mixed if that’s your thing.

Got the Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cream Mousse ($5.30) and the boba is really chewy and q! 😍 Milk tea is relatively milky. Sinful but a good cup of bubble tea.

Overall: ❤❤❤❤

Loved this!! In my opinion it’s not too sweet and the brown sugar really brought out the taste of the tea. Of course at this price it is a luxury that I can only drink occasionally 😅

$5.30. Had high expectations but it was rly not good. Couldn’t taste the brown sugar well, and the boba were just normal pearls. Don’t understand its worth for $5.30. Definitely won’t go back again.

Brown sugar milk with boba.

Wanted boba+pearls but pearls were sold out. Nonetheless I like the boba which was warm and soft! Gula Melaka was also fragrant and less sweet than I expected👍🏻 The milk, gula Melaka and boba combi can be a bit heavy though🙊

My first brown sugar milk experience at another place a little while ago wasn’t the best, I have to admit. The milk was rather sour and the combination with the earthy, caramel-like taste of the brown sugar was awful.

Thankfully, this brown sugar milk drink from Tiger Sugar helped to change my perception of the stuff. It had a less endearing sweetness compared to the regular black milk tea, but it was more honeyed with a hint of caramel. It was pretty delicious I must admit. Still though, the difference is not significant enough to convert me from a black milk tea squad to brown sugar milk team. 😅
