What a cute entremet! Laid my eyes on it and immediately knew I had to get it. This was heaven for pistachio lovers, and I’m one of them! The inside and outside were both singing (I initially wrote screaming, but that didn’t sound good🤔) pistachio, but yet at different frequencies which somehow harmonized really well - the flavours didn’t becoming overbearing, or didn’t start to compete with each other.

At first I was reluctant to dig into this beautifully crafted ball, but once I had my first taste of it, it was so hard to stop eating it! I really enjoyed the textures going on - the crunchy pistachios on the outside contrasted the smooth frangipane on the inside.. which also contrasted the homemade pistachio praline as well as feuilletine - yes, all inside the pistachio mousse ball! I personally really loved the pistachio mousse, that made it for me.

We came in on a Sunday afternoon and some of their cakes and pastries were already sold out - fortunately there were still some of these marimos hanging around. The cafe is very stylishly done up and we were lucky enough to get seats for two during a rather busy period. Do note that there’s 10% service charge if you’d like to dine in.

With the rise in popularity of dessert cafes and such entremets, it’s easy to find entremets that are quite generic and rather pricey too. It was nice to see Tigerlily whip out some creative ideas that really showcased their character as a cafe. We’ll definitely be back earlier in the day to try their other creations!

Light and creamy but really refreshing. I love eating this when sharing with another friend because we will order a richer dessert to contrast. The yuzu cream is not too heavy and easy to finish alone too.

I also recommend this cake of you really love dark chocolate, they are not here to play. I can taste the good quality of the chocolate and it's definitely an an adult taste filled it alcoholic soaked cherry. A must share with a friend.

Cost about $10 pretty expensive but it does taste pretty good. Rich and thick paste of pistachio. Must order if you love the pistachio nut. I recommend and will order if I visit again because I love the pistachio nut.

Accented by pretty terrazzo patterns made with pink flower petals and sliced pistachios, Tigerlily Patisserie’s Pink Guava & Pear ($12) was a pleasant and surprisingly light after-meal dessert. Delicate, the tropical fruity pairing was pretty subtle overall. The pink guava jelly and fresh pears provided some bite and a bright refreshing musky fragrance. The elderflower liqueur pear mousse, on the hand, was smooth, soft, and held a gentle floral sweetness. Best eaten all together; the cookie layered at the very bottom was my favourite element as it was buttery and slightly malty in flavour. The crisp-crumbly base also served as a nice texture contrast to the glossy gelatinous exterior.

I recommend the almond croissant. It's has a peanut butter filling and tastes good. I also recommend the chocolate Danish if you like dark chocolate. Totally suits my taste. However someone who loves milk chocolate says he doesn't like it. So I guess it's subjective. I think the croissant is ok. It tastes nicer than bakeries such as breadtalk, fourleaves etc. But I still prefer Brera
