Not a fan of crystal dumpling because of the crystal skin that is usually thicc and chewy. But the ones at THW is thin and soft. Apart from the thin skin, they took another step to change the chives to spinach as not many has the liking for chives. However, their skin is sooooo thin that it breaks when i tried to pick it up with my chopstick.
Ending off the meal with mini sesame ball. Salted egg filling was super flowy. Please have it hot but just be careful not to be hurt by the hot lava.
New item launch in 2019, very crispy dumpling skin with taro and chicken filling. Portion was generous especially the filling itself. Is a pity that the yam taste was not that prominent like the way i love it to be.
From their beef seasonal menu, we picked the beef chee cheong fun. Soft and silky chee cheong fun stuffed with beef filling. Beef was really tender and it goes well with the chee cheong fun. Especially mention on the savoury sauce here, flavour is just right and not too saltish.
Oh yes! Finally satisfied my craving after all these while! One of the heavenly four kings that i missed all these while from THW. It’s mine first try at the Jurong Point outlet and is still good as before. Crispy baked bun skin, with a good mixture of sweet and savoury char siew filling.
