Pretty decent har gao but I just thought the folds were especially pretty 😬 the shrimp was crisp and fresh too!

Tim Ho Wan's dim sum are usually not too bad and the chee cheong fun heavily ladened with peanut butter is totally 😍😍😍 because PEANUT BUTTER IS LOVE. They say taste is subjective so take someone with obvious biasness with a pinch of salt. With that said, I've always liked their dim sum and if I needed to satisfy my dim sum cravings, I would always think of them. Oh, I love the wasabi prawn too but it's the bias in me for this dish talking.

Hence, it's no surprise she wanted to have Tim Ho Wan that night.

Our usual order will always include the Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf and one of their "Big 4 Heavenly King Dim Sum", the Baked Bun with BBQ Pork ($5 for 3 pieces).

Wonderfully flavored with an aromatic fragrance from the lotus leaf, this is the only rice dumpling that I will eat (it's been years since I had a ba zhang) as it's not super greasy and has the perfect combination of chicken, pork slices, mushroom and blood sausage. As for the baked BBQ pork bun, after so many repeat visits, this is one dish that never fails. Since its opening, there have been many copycats and variations which proved it's success and popularity.

Definitely a must try for dim sum!!! There iconic buns are a must have being sweet and flaky on the outside and savoury with pork on the inside!

Daddy's first time here & my second! What we love: their signature baked char siew buns. The flavorful char siew filling within the hot bun topped with a sweet crust is the definition of comfort dimsum. I really like their ζ°΄ζ™Άι₯Ίε too, stuffed with leafy vegetable and shrimp.
If I were to be picky the soft carrot cake lacked in 菜倴 while the Chee Cheong fun can be skipped with its tough pig liver meat and unpleasant textured skin.

Been around many places to sample mango pomelo sago, and while most have been alright, Tim Ho Wan's version has the best mango cream, beautifully chilled in ceramic holders and a wealth of not-overly-bitter pomelo sacs evenly distributed across the entire serving. Not to mention a generous amount of actual mango pieces inside the already-wonderful mango cream. Must order if you like this dessert and you are at Times Ho Wan.
