Nepalese chicken chop. Although it looks like any western chicken chop, the spuce and marination of the chicken was unique. The rice was fragrant and sweet too

Nepali Lamb Choila (S$15.80)
Boneless spring lamb 🐐 leg grilled to perfection, marinated with pounded chilli, garlic, ginger, and Nepali spices served with pulau rice 🍚 and radish achar
Topup S$4.50 to make it a set meal πŸ₯˜ with soup of the day served with garlic toast, dessert & coffee, tea or milo.
~
The soup of the day was cream of mushroom πŸ„, served with a old school type of garlic toast.
The lamb was quite tender without any gamey taste, marinated with spices which reminded me of Indian cuisine. The rice was soft, fluffy, garlicky with pieces of cashew nuts in it.
The dessert was a slice of chocolate 🍫 chip cake which was light fluffy.
Finished off with a cup of hot milo.

A taste of the old school Fish and Chips [$11.50].

Wonderfully marinated lamb, didn't have the pungent lamb meat taste. Meat was delightfully moist and wasn't tough. Best to use your hands to eat the meat off the bone! Potato croquette tasted cheap and stale. Boiled radish and carrot had a distinct flavourful vegetable broth taste. Priced at $21.90.

This dish cost just $20.80, which isnt too pricey for the portion. The special thing is the mango salsa sauce. It was refreshing and a little tangy as you ate it together with the fish and crayfish. I rate it 7/10.

Always a sucker for scallops, I had to have this. Recommended to us by the waiter, it didn't take long for the dish to arrive at our table. Looking at it was enough to make our mouths water. First and subsequent bites into these delicious scallops was enough to make me come back to this hard-to-find restaurant located in Toa Payoh and it only cost 11dollars. One single yet big downside, the place is non air conditioned. I rate it 9/10.
