Paid $10 for Babi Pongtay set that comes with lemon grass drink, 2 sides (chap chye and omelette) with dessert (Gula Melaka Sago)
The pork was soft and tender and not overly fatty. Chap chye was slightly salty and not enough glass noodles but nevertheless was soft enough. Gula melaka sago was surprisingly nice with the gula melaka giving making the coconut milk both sweet with a tinge of savoury.
8/10 for food. Ambience is good for casual dining.

Set meal comes with rice, 2 sides, drink and dessert with every main. I chose the fermented bean sauce with pork for my main, chap chye and chincalok omelette for my sides, lemongrass as my drink and the gula Melaka for dessert.

Portion is quite substantial and food is good and reasonably priced. Each set ranges from 10 to 16 which includes 1 main 2 sides 1 drink and 1 dessert. Will recommend to anyone with peranakan food cravings!

Was craving for some Peranakan food and made my trip to one of their outlet in Marina Square. The set meal was valuable with one main dish, two side dishes, dessert and drink for only $15. Additional charge applied for some items in the set meal.

The food was served very fast (within minutes after I made my order), so I guess they have prepare the food before head. They definitely served one of the authentic Peranakan food here.

When they shut down Peramakan at Tang’s we temporarily lost a good Peranakan lunch fix. This new spot that opened up at Marina Square temporarily makes up for that. Each set meal includes a main, 2 sides, a drink and dessert. The Babi Pongteh set meal I had costs $10 and I topped up a little as I changed my dessert to chendol. The pork was ‘fall apart’ tender and bursting with unami in the fermented bean sauce. Definitely a lunch staple come June when my office gets closer to MS. #burpple #tingkatperamakan

Had an appetizing lunch today. My set consisted of Ayam Kleo, Nyonya Tauhu, chincalok omelette, rice, barley and chendol (add $1.50) for dessert. Total was $12.30
