Delicious food, including classic Peranakan main dish, satisfying variety of side dishes, complete with a drink and desert.
Somehow reminded of a Japanese bento set.
Good place for a casual comforting meal.
Although I still think my mom makes the best Buah Keluak - this one came pretty close to my momās version of the āblack goldā - rich nutty flavour - satisfying thick sauce - just the way I like it. Told my daughter, whom I had lunch with, that I could lick clean the bowl - but I didnāt - I know my manners, you know...?š

Anyway, this was the set lunch at Tingkat Peramakan (Thomson Plaza). One main, 2 sides, rice, dessert and drink - 6 different sets to choose from with price ranging from $10-$15. Pretty worth it if you ask me.
A new gem in Thomson Plaza, this is deliciously Peranakan! Pictured is a set with chapchye, curry chicken, tahu and their signature dessert sago gula melaka. You can top up to get chendol.
You get to choose the meat you want, and 2 side dishes. The curry sauce for the chicken was simply delicious! Mine added up to around $10, a great price for delicious food!
The lunch sets were value for money though some dishes lack in flavour. The curry chicken was rich and good. Love it!
