Ordered from Chinatown Zhong Zhong Fine Spice and ordered about 6 dishes with bee hoon costing a total $13+.

I find it quite affordable and not as oily lots of Ngoh Hiang stalls that I know. It would be good if they have longer operating hour and variety during dinner time.

This is the roast meat store at the corner of the market, next to an oyster omelette store.

Because it had the longest queue, we chose to get $12 worth of food here. But other than the crispy sao rou, there was nothing really special about the meat here.

Premium Wanton Noodle 不见倩叉烧. My perfect kinda of char siew. Look at layer of meat and fats.

Had the char siew roast meat rice ($4.50) from Lee Hong Kee & pork rib Prawn bee hoon ($5) from Min Nan 闽南.

The char siew is not thin and dry which is good. The roast meat is nothing to shout about.

For the pork rib Prawn Noodle, it is more filling than I expect and pork rib was huge. Only thing I would change is they could have the pork rib in smaller pieces so that it is easier to eat.

A somewhat lacklustre bowl of gan lao mian ($3.50) - the sauce looks much richer than it actually tastes! Was rather bland overall. The noodles were springy but the wantons stale.

My must order dessert whenever I am here.
