Hidden at the corner of Woods Square is the neon-lit, chill Tipsy Panda serving up a fusion of Asian and Western mains and bar bites. Personally, the drinks we had were a little dull and watered down, but they're currently having a promo for 1-for-1 Highballs (u.p. $15) so that's more bang for your buck. Otherwise, the Frosty's Lager ($11) was alright.

Food wise:
- [RECOMMENDED] Wagyu Beef Cubes: THIS WAS SO GOOD!! Bite-sized and so freakin tender, the scorched layer added a touch of smokiness to the lready delicious wagyu, made even better with the sat and the black pepper sauce. This almost brought us to tears.
- Fermented Pork Belly w/ Garlic: Really crisp strips of pork belly with the distinctive whiff of the fermented Beancurd. This was pretty yummy especially with the garlic coriander sauce. Deep fried cloves of garlic accompanies this if you want more garlickyness. Part of the 2 for $22 Tapas.
- Szechuan Mala Karaage: Bite-sized karaage so crispy it's almost like an explosion of mala on tender chicken pops. Part of the 2 for $22 Tapas.
- Lady Wu's Warrior Spicy Wings: Sauce was pretty spicy with a touch of tanginess, but when slathered on the wings the crispiness was gone so wasn't as nice. Part of the 2 for $22 Tapas.
- Crispy Calamari: Reminiscent of Old Chang Kee's Sotong, except meatier and with a more robust marinade. Pretty good with the truffle mayo. Part of the 2 for $22 Tapas.
- Burnt Cheesecake ($12): Soft and almost spongey, not so much to our liking.

Vibes were also great especially with the Live band and there were plenty of audience interactions if you like that. Even on a Thursday night there were a sizeable crowd of both large groups and solo drinkers. Just a great hangout place in the north overall.

Celebrated a friend's birthday with the banana dessert. Decent selection of alcoholic and non-alcholic drinks. We were there early on a Friday evening and left at about 8pm +, where the band started playing. Great place in the neighbourhood, to be able to immerse in the atmosphere and with good food to complement too.

Tipsy Collective has a few different brands under them across Singapore, with a few different Tipsy outlets that incorporates with interesting animal names.

Such as their outlet here at the North, they used panda in the outlet name; which the concept are much towards the Chinese cuisine.

One of the signature and exclusive in this outlet would definitely be the Szechuan Panda Noodles.

Be ready to enjoy the tongue-numbling mala soup, which you can amp up your mala game from level 1 to 3 for the spiciness.

I wasn’t too dare enough to challenge myself, so I gotten just the level 1. I can say the spicy is still legit here but wasn’t too unbearable.

There’s lots of ingredients inside actually, including the sliced cod fish, mussels, housemade luncheon meat, fried lotus slices, enoki mushroom, soy beansprouts, salted vegetable and coriander; together with a good portion of ramen.

I’m just slightly disappointed with the lack of sliced cod fish, was expecting more of it. But overall was enjoyable and tasty. $23++

Cheesecake was warm, soft and gooey as described, a sweet note to end off the meal. However the crust was a little too burnt for my liking, could taste the bitterness of the charred taste.

Ice cream that came with it was a salty flavour and a good pairing with the cheesecake.

Looks unassuming but tastes SO. GOOD. Well worth the $32 for this dish !

Beef was cooked to a medium rare, tender to the bite yet flavourful and well salted.
I don’t like carrots but the carrot puree is a great match with the beef as a “dip”.
Asparagus were crunchy but not tough.

No regrets cause we enjoyed every bit of this dish and we wiped the plate clean ! Will definitely order this again the next time I visit (:

Disclaimer: The beef on the right plate is served on top of the bowl of horfun, but we forgot to take a photo and only realised after we took the beef out 😑

$23 for this dish, but my dinner companion and I both agreed that it wasn’t as wow as we thought it’ll be
horfun was okay, beef was nice ! Slight hints of truffle as described, but it won’t be a repeat order for me.
