Chey Sua Carrot Cake
# 02-30

The main reason why I came here! They only sell white carrot cake. We ordered the biggest $4 chilli flavour. It’s so SO so good!! It’s like crispy pancake which I prefer over the soft chunks. They smothered their chilli sauce on the carrot cake while cooking. Totally worth waiting for 20 min! (Peak period may take 30-60 min) I will definitely be back for this!

Teochew Handmade Pau

This da bao is even more awesome. Look how thin the skin is. 😲 It’s not too wet or dry. Seasoning is just right too. 👍🏻

Love these mini Kong Bak pau! Skin is soft, the meat is well seasoned and no fatty parts.

Fish soup 鱼粥鱼汤海鲜汤

Didn’t get the rice cos ordering many food. Soup is sweet & addictive, steamed fish is fresh, fried fish is good too.

Come Daily Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee
# 02-27

I like that it has more sauce/gravy. A lot of crispy pork lards though I’m not a fan of that. Chili is nice too.

A box for $12. Mixed flavours that the boss chose for us. Honestly the ugliest but the yummiest muffins! 🤤

The mini Teochew handmade pau that I love! Bian rou pau, char siew pau, da pau & siew mai.

Love sourness in the chilli sauce. Very refreshing & shiok. Generous portion of the 大肠 (the only organ I eat). Kway chap 汁 has a nice herbal taste. One of the best I’ve tried. 👍🏻

Like I've said before, what distinguishes a good leicha from a normal/bad one is the tea gravy. Can't find any fault with the veges here (they're fresh, crunchy and not greasy), but this stall's tea gravy is sadly diluted (just look at that big bowl of green water). Price wise it's affordable ($3.50 per bowl, +50 cents for brown rice, and I made a bad choice of adding $1 for more vege because that was just an overkill).

Was famished and wasn't about to settle for a greasy breakfast at the hawker centre. This stall (Perdana Muslim) which was a couple stalls away from Uggli Muffins, served Seafood Hor Fun ($4) at 9.30am! It was prepared fresh and I stood by enthusiastically seeing how my breakfast was made. Verdict: Super shiok!

Egg noodles and bee tai mak version. Classic taste with little chilli and ketchup base. Clear soup for the two bouncy fish balls.

White and black version. Black is done with dark sweet soy sauce. White is simply without the dark sauce. Both are as yummy as it look.

Tasty lightly salty, soft and tender noodles that bundles with the savoury sauce. To be share or self indulgence.
